The cottage is clean, tidy and not far off being perfect. We used it mainly as a base for exploring but during time spent on site we were perfectly comfortable and slept really well. Please note that if anything further was needed then Kev (owner) was only a phone/txt away and always ready to assist.

Middle Rigg Cottage, it's a great little cottage to hide away, or Whitby just down the road lots of places to see from lovely fish and chips next to the Quay or Whitby Abbey and the museum at top of the hill not forgetting the old cobble streets with the lovely little tea rooms.

This cottage was a real gem. Although small it was adequate for two people & very cosy and warm also spotlessly clean. The field at the back of the property was great for my border Terrier to excise in. The property is rural but not far from Whitby and supermarkets. I definitely would stay here again.

We had a great weekend in Middle Rigg, the cottage was clean, well presented, fully equipped and had a fantastic view of Whitby Abbey from upstairs! It's in a nice quiet location with plenty of parking space, there is a field directly behind that our dog could run around in, and has easy access to some very picturesque walking routes. We met Kevin Read morewhen we arrived who was very friendly and helpful, and he kept in contact over the weekend. Would highly recommend this cottage and would stay here again. Hide
