In a prime location in the centre of picture-postcard Beer, this first-floor apartment is an enticing escape for a couple or family wanting to explore Devon’s incomparable Jurassic Coast. Step outside and within 100 metres, you’ll be in the centre of the village, where there’s a choice of places to eat and drink – the fish and seafood are especially tempting – and a small selection of intriguing shops. The family-friendly, shingle beach is the same distance, the perfect spot for watching the colourful fishing boats come and go. Less than 0.5 miles away but high above the village, Pecorama is home to a fleet of miniature steam locomotives and a renowned model railway exhibition. Head out on the South West Coast Path to reach Seaton, 2.5 miles away, or Branscombe, 2 miles away, passing awe-inspiring scenery. The lovely seaside town of Lyme Regis is 9.5 miles away.

From the shared entrance, take the stairs up to your front door. Kick off your shoes in the hallway and head into the open-plan living space, where you’ll find an L-shaped kitchen equipped with everything you’ll need to prep holiday meals, and a dishwasher to help with cleaning up. Two guests can dine comfortably at the elevated bar seating area. There are 2 additional chairs if required. The lounge area has a wooden floor, pale walls and touches of colour for a fresh, relaxed feel. This is a special place in which to unwind on the sofas or comfortable armchairs around the Smart TV and enjoy streaming your favourite shows. When you start to yawn, cross the hall to find the two restful bedrooms, a double and a twin with 2' 6" single beds, which share a sleek shower room.

Although there is no dedicated outdoor space for this apartment, the nearby suntrap beach is the perfect place to relax in the fresh air. As for parking, the owner will provide you with a permit for the nearby car park.

There is no physical car parking pass (contrary to what we were told by holidaycottages.co.uk when providing car reg.) Shower temperature control didnt seem to work. Lounge seating not very comfy. That all said a great stay and we would return.

Once cleaned, flat was very well located and comfortable and the kitchen had good utensils.
