Offering bright, stylishly designed and cheerful accommodation for up to five guests, this airy, light-filled lodge is perfect for families and friends looking for a tranquil lakeside location with a range of fantastic activities available. The lodge sits within the popular Tallington Lakes Leisure Park, with over 200 acres of beautiful lakes, perfect for water skiing, wakeboarding and surfing. The site also has a climbing tower, dry ski slope and a bar and restaurant for you to unwind in after an exhilarating day. Exploring the local area further, the park lies close to Lincolnshire’s border with Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire, offering miles of peaceful walks. Both Stamford (6 miles) and Market Deeping (3.5 miles) have a range of shops and friendly places to eat and drink. Other local attractions include Burghley House, Sacrewell Farm and Normanton Church at Rutland Water, all within 13 miles.

Entering this elegant light-filled single-level lodge, you will be greeted by the sleek and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The comfortable lounge has ample seating and a Smart TV, with the main dining table over by the windows. The fully equipped kitchen is to the rear and has plenty of storage space and a handy additional breakfast bar. Exploring further, you will find three fresh and spacious bedrooms: a delightful twin, a cosy single and a relaxing king-size room with a useful dressing room and en-suite shower room. The accommodation also features an invigorating bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside, the generous decked area looks out across the lake, with garden furniture offering a relaxing spot for you to settle back, dine alfresco and take in the peaceful views. From the decked area a gate leads down to a private jetty that gives access to the lake for fishing, paddleboarding, or canoeing. There is also a shared outdoor swimming pool open from beginning of May to the beginning of September - charges apply. Private parking is available for three cars on the drive.

The lodge was clean and comfortably appointed with many items of kit and some thoughtful touches, such as providing a torch.
