History enthusiasts can explore Dartmouth Castle, located 1.6 miles away via foot and hikers can join the South West Coast Path to experience miles of breath-taking coast and countryside views. For scenic countryside tours to Paignton on a coal-fired paddle steamer or vintage steam engines, take the ferry over to Kingswear to the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
