Great family holiday with property in ideal location for enjoying a holiday on the island. Good local amenities. The seating, tables and barbecue next to the Creek made the holiday for us with the family spending long periods on board on the creek at high tide.

We had a wonderful week staying in this lovely house. We would highly recommend this property either for friends meeting up or family gatherings. As there was a bus stop at the end of the lane it was easy to have a rest from driving. We stayed at Tideway over Easter 2026 as a long-awaited family reunion for all of my adult children and their partners. The house fit the bill perfectly and, if anything, was even better than it appears on the website. Fabulous space, lots of different areas to congregate and relax: kitchen, bar area, lovely big lounge, outdoor patio and watersideRead more garden. Excellent welcome basket (thank you!) and clear instructions on where to find everything. Impressive bedrooms and comfortable beds. Caroline was in touch right from the start and very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely return or recommend. Hide

Tideway really is the most beautiful house, which suited our needs perfectly. We stayed there as a group of 5 old friends, who now live in various locations across the South and South East, and get together once a year for a proper catch up. With the ferry from Portsmouth coming into Fishbourne, a 5 minute taxi journey away, Tideway was ideally locRead moreated and easy to get to. The communal areas were very social, Tideway has a lovely large kitchen with table, the bar area was fun to sit in and listen to music, and the lounge with the comfy seating and large TV was perfect for us a group. As 5 women in our 50's and 60's, having the privacy of our own bedrooms and bathrooms suited us well. Tideway was spotlessly clean, and had absolutely everything we needed. The nearby Tesco Express was useful, just a 5 minute walk away, and the Sloop Inn, also a 5 minute walk away, did a great Sunday Carvery, and the staff weren't at all fazed by us arriving soaked through ! We would loved to have been able to sit in the garden, or go across to the jetty, but unfortunately the weather really wasn't very kind to us. Luckily we were perfectly happy spending most of our time indoors, relaxing and chatting in a warm, comfortable, really quite luxurious setting. We all said we would like to return sometime for another of our annual get togethers. Hide

Tideway is a stunning property in a stunning location. Three families comprising six adults and four young children really enjoyed the comfort and facilities provided. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area and on the island in general. We would thoroughly recommend Tideway and would certainly return given the chance.
