A lovely property which is very well equipped, comfortable and very clean in a good location for exploring the Brecon countryside, villages and towns. Plenty of options for eating out close by and places to purchase provisions. Would definitely recommend and would return again.

A wonderful holiday home! Exceptionally clean throughout and equipped with plentiful and very good quality items in the kitchen and furnished to a high standard. Its set in a very quiet lane abutting fields. No stray light to keep visitors awake at night. There is a standard double bed in one room which I believe is going to replaced with a kiRead morengsize, which we prefer. However, for our stay we pushed together the two singles in the other room and made a 6ft bed. Perfect! It was a real pleasure to stay and we didnt want to leave. The house is set in a beautiful village of Llangorse which has a community shop and cafe which we used several times and is operated by volunteers. There are two pubs in the village too. A lovely walk around part of the lake is a must! Its about a 5 mile drive to Talybont-on-Usk where the canal passes through. We took our bikes there and cycled into Brecon. About 8 miles one way. Also walked the ridge on Mynydd Llangorse. The views are spectacular. A short drive will take you to Hay on Wye, with a wonderful garden centre on the way at Three Cocks. We also had two evenings at the theatre and cinema in Abergavenny only 25 mins drive away. All in all an amazing holiday. The house is very large and spacious with two huge bedrooms both with en-suite bath rooms. Theres a shower room downstairs. Hide

The cottage was well laid out and furnished. We appreciated the foodstuffs supplied and it was a pleasure to have sharp knives to prepare food with. Location was ideal for our plans.

We really enjoyed our stay in The Coach House. The house is in a very good location, being peaceful and quiet but within easy walking distance of the village and the lake. We appreciated the walk leaflets and maps for walks further afield. The house is very well presented, just as the photographs show and very well equipped.

Ideal, well equipped, cottage for our family of four with two teens, very spacious and clean, with comfortable beds in extra large bedrooms. Very quiet location, within a short walk to the local village and Llangorse Lake, and only a 40 min drive to the amazing Four Water Fall Trail and Zip World. We loved the Ty Mawr Coach House and found it really comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. It's a perfect base for exploring Brecon Beacons, right by a beautiful little lake, and we had a lovely time walking, climbing, stargazing and our 12 Yr old son loved the horseriding too. We were grateful for the walking maps and found Llangorse genRead moreerally a lovely place - we really liked the little community cafe and shop, and the excellent multi activity centre down the road, which were warm and welcoming. Ryan also dropped by to ask if there was anything we were missing which was much appreciated. Thank you for enabling a lovely winter break and rest away from London! Hide
