Enjoy long days of coastal fun when staying at this stylish, sea-view home that offers the perfect base for families and groups of friends planning adventures across the sun-soaked Isle of Wight. Totland Beach and Colwell bay (0.5 miles on foot) are ideal for a quiet beach day, with clear waters and fine restaurants to enjoy. For the little ones, just 0.3 miles is a large playpark and football field. For more picturesque scenery, the famous Needles are only 3 miles away, offering dramatic chalk cliffs, a historic lighthouse and access to the multicoloured Alum Bay. A 2-mile journey brings you to Freshwater Bay, a delightful spot ideal for coastal walks and exploring the caves carved into the cliffs. The town of Yarmouth, 5 miles away, offers a quaint harbour, a historic castle, and ferry links to the mainland. At the end of the day, refuel in one of the renowned restaurants nearby, with some of the best within walking distance of your door. Before stepping into this impressive home, take a moment to appreciate the surrounding greenery and the sounds of the coast that set the scene for a memorable Isle of Wight stay.

Head into the welcoming hallway to find that the seaside charm continues in the form of a bright and light, open-plan living space that combines the lounge, kitchen and diner. Here, swing open the French doors to the garden to let the salty sea air flow in, then settle on the sumptuous sofa and flick on the Smart TV to rest weary walking muscles. When stomachs rumble, find that the sleek kitchen space boasts all that’s needed to cook up a feast for your loved ones, who can gather at the table inside to enjoy the chef’s food, or out in the garden to dine alfresco. At the end of each day, head up to the first floor and choose from three delightful bedrooms, all of which showcase decor inspired by the ocean. These bedrooms include two inviting double rooms and a cosy twin, served by a well-appointed family bathroom which completes the first floor. Make the most of your wonderful sea views by climbing to the second and final floor of the house, where another lounge boasts bi-fold doors that lead onto a fantastic, sleek balcony. Here, two inviting armchairs offer the best spot to enjoy the panoramic sea view from the Needles towards Hurst Castle and superb sunsets or get cosy on the sofa in front of the TV, the sofa can be converted to sleep an extra two guests on request. A stylish family shower room on this level completes the interior.

Accessed from the ground-floor living space, the fully enclosed and private garden is the best spot from which to unwind under the Isle of Wight sun. Here, amble down to the end of the garden, where soft outdoor seating is arranged next to a handy summer house. Guests will also find a picnic bench and a BBQ here, offering all you need for al fresco feasts together. Private, off-road parking for two cars is also available.
