You’ll be within easy reach of the popular western lakes of Bassenthwaite (10 miles) and Derwentwater (16 miles), and for a day at the coast, journey to the long, sandy beach at Allonby (9 miles) or spend an afternoon exploring the harbour town of Maryport (7 miles). Nearby family attractions include Go Ape (7.5 miles) and Lake District Wildlife Park (8 miles).
