For a quiet Welsh break amidst to-die-for scenery, stay at this charming single-storey annexe within the Brecon Beacons National Park, a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside and fresh air to fill your lungs, with fantastic walking and cycling trails through national park starting right from the property. Sennybridge (2 miles) has a well-stocked village store and cosy pubs for enjoying a pint or two. Plan leisurely trips to local tourist sites like the National Showcaves for Wales at Dan yr Ogof (12 miles), where you’ll be impressed by the underground waterfalls of Cathedral Cave. The impressive waterfalls of Ystradfellte (15 miles) are also a must-see. For more outdoor fun, head to the Brecon Visitor Centre at the base of Pen-y-Fan (8 miles), or visit the Usk Reservoir (9.5 miles) to discover its scenic trails and abundant wildlife.

You’ll enter this sweet retreat through the front door that opens into hallway with boot room off – ideal for shedding muddy boots and coats after a day in the hills. We had a lovely stay. Property is perfect. Location was great for us, we are walkers so loved the isolation.
