Rest and recharge in this delightful bolthole for two, just 3 miles from the North Devon coast. The holiday home is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it ideal for those holidaying with four-legged companions. You’ll be within easy reach of some of North Devon’s finest beaches. Get away from it all at the secluded beach at Lee Bay – a popular spot for kayaking and paddleboarding (3 miles). Here, you can also join the South West Coast Path and enjoy a particularly scenic stretch through the area known locally as ‘Fuchsia Valley’. Alternatively, for a traditional, seaside feel, journey to Woolacombe (3.5 miles), where you’ll find a long, sandy beach, gift shops, and a fantastic array of pubs and restaurants. Other day trips from the property include the bustling, harbour town of Ilfracombe (4.5 miles) and the picturesque Exmoor villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (20 miles).

The cosy, single-storey annexe has a home-away-from-home vibe, with comfortable furniture, cute accessories, and artwork adorning the walls. Leave muddy boots in the porch, before heading through to the inviting, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here, you’ll find a kitchen area with everything needed to whip up delicious dinners for two, which you can share at the glass dining table. After dinner, snuggle up on the plump sofa to read a book or catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Just off the kitchen area is a handy WC. To the rear of the annexe, you’ll find an inviting double-size bedroom with a shower cubicle set in the corner. This room is full of personality, with a fabulous vaulted ceiling and characterful, antique-style furniture.

Outside, dine alfresco at the table on your private patio, surrounded by pretty flowers and pot plants. Guests are also welcome to explore the owner’s attractive, landscaped garden. Private parking is available for one car at the front of the property.

The cottage is an ideal spot for a quiet break for two people. A cosy cottage in a quiet location with magnificent views across farmland to the sea. Very peaceful and relaxed.
