The property is described as "luxury". While the location is excellent and the basic fittings are potentially comfortable enough, the maintenance is lacking. I would highlight the following issues as examples: 1. On arrival, there is absolutely no guest information. There are warning signs in the car parks that cars without permits will be clampedRead more, but we could not find a permit anyway. I messaged the number given for the caretaker, but no answer was received (despite the message having been read). It was only when speaking to the office at the Beachcombers apartments (which do not manage this apartment) that we were reassured that clamping no longer happens in the car park. 2. None of the four bedside lights are working. 3. There are multiple bulbs throughout the property which are gone (e.g. 2/3 on stairs, 2/6 in main bedroom (so can't read in bed, as no bedside light), 2/4 in kitchen and many more). 4. The dishwasher has a broken basket, and it's difficult to therefore load it properly. 5. The only shower has a very broken door, which is potentially unsafe. 6. The television, listed as a smart TV, is flickering (white flashing patches on the picture), so you can't watch it. 7. Wi-Fi is very patchy and unreliable. 8. The fridge struggles to maintain a cool temperature even when turned up to maximum. 9. There are several rooms where the lights flicker, for example the upstairs en-suite bathroom where there is a "sparking" noise from the switch. 10. In the main room upstairs, one of the blinds on the windows will not stay down at all. Hide

Perfect location for Watergate Bay (5 mins walk) and great spot to explore the wider area. The apartment has lots of space and is well equipped. Definitely recommend!

We fully enjoyed the holiday apartment, and next year may try to book several units for our other family members, The location is perfect as our holidays are based on the beach

A nice place to stay. Clean and tidy with quick access to a great beach including places to eat. If you're really lazy you can even get a takeaway via Deliveroo from nearby Newquay. Parking place a bit tight. So if you're down from London with your Chelsea Tractor you might not be too popular with those parked either side. Ford Focus size is okay.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable and well located for the beach and associated water activities, as well as easy access to the South West Coast Path for walking, and the bus stop. There is a bar next door which does take aways, but there is no shop where guests can purchase groceries or basics such as milk, bread, eggs etc. Read more Hide
