An enticing, rustic hideaway, with slate walls and exposed beams, this exquisite cottage makes a magnificent, romantic retreat. Nestled in a beautiful valley outside the small village of Llanglydwen, 11.5 miles from Narberth, in West Wales, it is set on a tranquil, exclusive site with a shared swimming pool, sauna and spa pool. The one-bedroom cottage is perfect for couples wanting to explore all of West Wales. With views towards the Preseli Hills, the area is a haven for wildlife and for spending time in the great outdoors. Enjoy walks in the pristine countryside surrounding the property and the nearby Preseli Hills. The closest beaches are Poppit Sands, 16.4 miles to the north, and Wiseman’s Bridge 17.5 miles to the south. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path surrounds the coastline from the cottage and the popular town of Tenby is 21.5 miles away, where you can also savour the colour of the seaside town.

Climb the slate steps up to this delightful abode, which was cleverly created within a character-laden former barn. Enter to find welcoming, split-level accommodation, with wooden floors, exposed timbers and revealed stonework. The kitchen/diner is on the main level of the open-plan living area. Here, glass has been fitted into an original archway to bring the garden views right inside as you dine together. There is also a door that can be opened on warm days to bring in a summer breeze and give access to your private, courtyard area. The kitchen has been fitted out with everything you need to help you rustle up romantic meals for two, and there is a farmhouse table to dine at. There is also a bookshelf with a selection of good reads to choose from. Steps from the kitchen/diner lead down into the lounge, where comfortable seating has been arranged around an attractive, rounded chimney breast that houses the wood burner. Light a fire, sink back into the sofa and find your favourite programme on the smart TV. There is also a shower room, with WC. Climb the steps up from the kitchen/diner to discover your inviting double bedroom up on the mezzanine level. This has a vaulted ceiling and lovely views of the gardens and surrounding countryside.

Take four steps down from the kitchen/diner to sit outside in your beautiful, courtyard garden. Here you can cook on the BBQ, pop open a bottle of wine and look out over the shared lawn and peaceful, mature gardens as the sun goes down. Make the most of the fabulous, shared leisure facilities during your stay too. These include an indoor, heated swimming pool, plus a sauna and hot tub. Guests also have access to a shared laundry room. There is private parking for two cars in a shared, on-site courtyard.

I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking. So peaceful and quiet with some lovely scenery. Ed the owner was very nice upon arrival and also has a guide book for the area for restaurants and pubs and even some nice places to visit around the area. Wont be faulted in anyway, thank you Ed.

The cottage is in a stunning location. Astoundingly beautiful coast to be found just 35 mins drive away. The pool and sauna are an amazing asset. The rolling hills to be seen from the gardens are the perfect setting to wake up in. The cottage itself is very very comfortable and unique with a mesanine type bedroom above a well equipped kitchen and cRead moreosy fireplace. The constant sound of sheep and lambs was very idyllic. Lovely organic shop just 8 mins walk away for all your food needs. Host is very accommodating and a great communicator. The guide book is possibly the best guide book we have ever seen and ever will, full of amazing recommendations so much so that you need to do no research whatsoever before your trip, its all there for you and categorised in such a helpful way. If you book the middle cottage, be aware that you are sharing a garden with the cottages either side of you should they be booked too. Hide

This is a wonderful place to stay. The location, cottage, pool and sauna and the host Ed all perfect. If you're looking for somewhere to relax and get away from it all, Fron Isaf is the ideal place. Lots of quality restaurants and butchers all within short drives too.
