We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beggers Retreat from the moment we pulled onto the drive and was met by the owner Duncan we felt at home. The property itself is absolutely beautiful very well equipped and the attention to detail was something else. Extremely clean luxury bedding and towels and a beautiful reed diffuser that smelt lovely through Read morethe whole barn. we used the log burner every evening and I text Duncan for some more logs which he delivered within hours and left outside the back door and were much more reasonably priced than the local supermarket. After busy days exploring the coastlines and local towns, it was a real bonus to have such a lovely hot tub to sit and stargaze. The location of the property is completely idyllic and although the owner Duncan was around if we needed him, it felt very private.. it was ideal for our dog( Hugo ) with a garden that was very secure and he enjoyed his morning walks along the lane watching the deer would absolutely recommend this to friends and I will definitely be returning Hide

A lovely little cottage, just perfect for what we needed. It was very close to local beaches (approx 15 minutes drive) and set in some beautiful countryside. Duncan, the host was very friendly. Hot tub was great to relax in the evenings. Garden was secure for a small dog. Everything you needed at the cottage and everything was immaculately clean.
