Spacious and stylish, this delightful apartment nestles in the beating heart of the seaside town of Bridlington, offering a perfect base to couples planning coastal hikes, bucket-and-spade days on the beach, and other Yorkshire adventures. With the centre of Bridlington on the doorstep, guests have easy access to the town’s wealth of seaside attractions, independent shops and welcoming places to eat and drink. The golden sands of both North and South beaches are less than half a mile away, making sun-soaked beach days a breeze. Here, enjoy a wealth of water sport opportunities, al fresco fish and chips, promenade mooches and plenty more seaside fun. For less resort attractions and more natural wonders, join the scenic coast path from the northern end of North Beach and follow the trail as far as Flamborough Head (5.5 miles) where incredible North Sea views, coastal birds and even dolphins and seals can be spotted.

As you enter through the striking blue doors of this ground-floor apartment, you'll find yourself in a bright hallway. Immediately to your right is the vibrant lounge, featuring a delightful blend of modern and artistic decor. Natural lights flows through the room thanks to the impressive bay window, making it easy to unwind on the sumptuous sofa as the Smart TV plays your favourite shows. When stomachs rumble, set the dining table by the window and move back into the corridor to find the kitchen. This compact but well-appointed space boasts all you’ll need to cook up romantic feasts for two, perhaps using the Yorkshire ingredients you sourced earlier in the day. At the end of each evening, retreat to the sumptuous super-king-size bedroom for a well-deserved night’s sleep and start each morning with a soak in the well-equipped bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Although there is no outdoor space at the property, guests are placed in the very heart of Bridlington, where morning beach walks and evening promenade strolls are made easy. While private parking is unavailable, the apartment is surrounded by public car parks, including a paid car park opposite the building.

The apartment is lovely and clean and bright with the sun streaming through the front window. The downside is trying to park a car. The roads are 1 or 2 hours free only, until the evening when it is 6pm to 9am. Luckily we are early risers. The car park opposite is max 4 hours paid parking so lots of juggling needed.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Blue Door. It was really convenient , especially for train station and nearby supermarket .

Had a problem with the boiler pressure dropping the owner. Very polite and helpful getting the problem fixed. However we had to wait in one day for the owners brother to sort the problem but did not arrive until the next day. However, having talked to the owner we arranged to leave the keys and when we got back from our trip to Selby, the heating aRead morend hot water had been sorted. This is very important as my wife has asthma. Hide
