It is 1.5 miles from the bustling market town of Wadebridge, which boasts several independent shops, cafes and restaurants. It's perhaps most famous feature though is the Camel Trail that follows the old railway line for 18 miles which runs from Padstow, to Wenford Bridge, via Wadebridge and Bodmin. Within 1/2 mile of the property you can join the camel trail on foot or cycle along its surfaced and relatively level path. For more coastal adventures try Harlyn (8 miles), Polzeath (9.5 miles) or Newquay’s famous beaches (from 15 miles) are all reachable by car, cycle or and a good bus service. Within 7 miles the fashionable picturesque Padstow Harbour can be found, which is known for its exceptional eateries, including a Michelin starred restaurant, or visit the art galleries and varied independent shops it has to offer. From Padstow you can hop across the estuary on a ferry to Rock, which offers fine sandy beaches and lovely restaurants. Within a short distance from the cottage, there are several golf courses which include St Enodoc, The Point at Polzeath or Trevose, all boasting beautiful sea view back drops.

Open the front door to the period cottage and enter to find accommodation with a bright, contemporary appeal. At the heart of this airy holiday retreat, there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which has been finished with finesse and flair. The chic kitchen/diner has been fitted out with stylish cabinets topped off with light work surfaces, and it features everything you will need to help you cater for your friends and family during your stay. Open the stable door in here or at the other end of the room as you gather around the matching table to dine. The beamed sitting room features a stone fireplace and a generous space with comfortable seating. Unwind in this welcoming space during the colder months, with the wood burner crackling and a good film on the Smart TV. Stairs from the kitchen/diner lead up to the two beautiful bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor. There is a double-size bedroom and a twin zip-and-link, which can also be made up as a super-king,( just let us know at the time of booking) giving you that added flexibility. The bathroom offers both a shower, bath and a heated towel rail.

Fantastic cottage, everything of a very high standard. We felt so comfortable and relaxed here and had everything we needed. Treyarnon bay and the walk round to Constantine bay and beyond was stunning and we spent most days there. I would happily book to stay here again.

What a fabulous cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Everything you could need is there, the attention to detail is second to none. Beautifully decorated and accessorised, it feels like a home. We travelled up and down the Camel trail, beautiful for walks or cycling, wandered a bit further afield to Newquay and some National trust locations.
