An ideal hideaway for families and friends discovering the idyllic countryside surrounding the sparkling Loch Tay, this light and stylishly updated property offers ample accommodation for up to six guests. Situated along the northern shore of the loch, the fresh and relaxing getaway is a great base for hiking, biking and an array of water sports, with the Scottish Crannog Centre in the nearby Tay Forest Park (2.5 miles). The picturesque village of Kenmore (4 miles) lies at the north-eastern end of the loch, offering a variety of activities including sailing, water-skiing and canoeing. The area is also perfect for fishing and golf, with popular landmarks and attractions including the Falls of Acharn, Taymouth Castle Estate, Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery (all within 11 miles) and the Fortingall Yew Tree (2.5 miles) – possibly the oldest living thing in Europe.

Entering this fantastic holiday cottage, head upstairs to the first floor which features a stylish and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with light streaming in through the skylights of the high vaulted ceiling and from the large picture windows along the far wall. The bright and welcoming lounge has ample seating, a Smart TV and a cheery wood burner, providing a relaxing space to unwind after enjoying a hearty meal around the central dining table. To the rear of the room, the stylishly arranged kitchen has plenty of equipment, storage and workspace. When it’s time to turn in for the night, return to the ground floor where you will find three fresh and spacious bedrooms – two of them en-suite, there’s a choice between a charming twin and two delightful king-size rooms. The accommodation also features an invigorating main family bathroom.

From the first floor living area, sliding glass doors open onto a lovely large balcony with garden furniture, and offering wonderful views over the loch and out across the magical surrounding countryside. Guests will also have access to a private jetty along the shoreside waterfront.  Please note that access to the property is via external wooden stairs with gravelled steps.
