Beautiful views. Well located for shops and restaurants in Broadford. Care needed when exiting driveway onto road due to closeness of bend.

Brooklyn is a gorgeous property with absolutely fantastic views over the sea that change by the second. Cosy with underfloor heating and a log burner for additional heat if required. Plenty of logs in the log store. Fully functioning kitchen with plenty of utensils and a very large fridge/freezer. Comfortable beds with the softest linen. Furniture Read moresupplied for outdoors, we did not use as it was still quite cool outside. Plenty of walks available from the property. We had an amazing stay. Thank you so much. Hide

This is a lovely property with stunning views out onto the water. However, it is located directly on the A87 which wasn't specified in the description and came as a bit of a surprise. The traffic started at about 6.30am, but we got used to it or used earplugs. The nearest bar was an 18 minute walk away and not less than 0.5 miles. The Claymore reRead morestaurant is closer, and one of our favourites. The house was well equipped, especially the kitchen which had everything we needed. The beds were all extremely comfortable. We loved that some board games had been provided for our entertainment. There were also lots of binoculars for us to use to make the most of the incredible view. It was really useful to have the separate entrance hall to take off our walking boots and sort out the dog. We never got tired of looking at the view or sitting outside when the weather permitted. Be aware that the property is directly on a main road so 2 of the bedrooms are subject to traffic noise. Internally the house has been renovated so it is fairly bright and modern, with the best feature being the large windows overlooking the bay. However the exterior, especially the original cottage walls ie rear, side and front are in a delipidaRead moreted state which is causing damp and leaks. The photographs shown on the website do not give you the true picture of this property. Not worthy of the 4 star rating in its current state. Hide

This was a fantastic house, in a wonderful location. 8 of us shared it for an extended family holiday, and there was more than enough space for all of us. The kitchen was very well resourced, with lots of extras we weren't expecting. The living area with the picture windows overlooking the water provided the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee. WRead moree could enjoy the gorgeous view, safe from the midges in the evening from the comfort of our own space. Hide

The view overlooking the sea is absolutely stunning. However, the cottage is literally right next to the very busy A87. All the bedrooms suffer from traffic noise day and night so virtually impossible to get uninterrupted sleep, with many HGVs passing through the night. If we had known about the location (which is incorrectly shown as further awaRead morey from the road on your website map) we would never have even considered bookiing it. Temporary roadworks were in place, and this did calm the traffic a bit while they were in place. We lrft three days early as we couldn't stand the traffic noise any longer. Hide
