Beadnell village has two pub restaurants, a cafe/bistro and a beachside cafe. Head to Seahouses (7 miles) for boat trips to the Farne Islands, and discover Bamburgh Castle (9 miles). Visit Craster’s famous seafood eateries and coastal path to Dunstanburgh (4.5 miles), Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum and the family will love a day at Alnwick Castle and Gardens.

The modern, bright holiday property is perfect for families and couples looking for a little luxury, plenty of comfort and the convenience of being close to all the popular attractions on the Northumberland coast and beyond. In the hallway, there are coat hooks and a comfortable seat where you can take off and store your walking boots after your daily adventures and a door leads to the downstairs WC. Head into the elegant, open-plan living space on the ground floor with underfloor heating throughout, powered by the air source heat pump. The warm and inviting lounge space is furnished with two large, comfortable leather sofas so you can sit back and unwind in front of the attractive wood burner-effect gas fire in the corner, and there is a wall-mounted Smart TV for entertainment. Bi-folding doors flood light into the room and can be opened in the warmer months to embrace outdoor/indoor living. The dining table has room and seating for six guests and the contemporary kitchen is fully equipped so the family cooks can prepare a range of meals and drinks. The appliances include an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The utility room is just off the main living area and has a washing machine and additional storage space. The glazed back door opens to the garden. Upstairs, there are three beautifully presented bedrooms; a king-size at the front with a view over the nearby countryside and an attractive en-suite shower room with a shower cubicle and WC. The double bedroom is also at the front with a walk-in closet, and the single bedroom has a trundle bed (which can be made up as a twin or a double for an additional child guest) and a wall-mounted Smart TV. The stylish family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside at the rear, there is an enclosed garden with a lawned area and a patio with garden furniture where you can relax and enjoy al fresco dining and dark sky stargazing. The side gate leads to the driveway. At the front, the large, gravel drive can park up to three cars and there is a gentle ramp leading to the front door.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house, 3 generations of family. The pub in the village doesn't serve food which is a pity, but we walked to Embleton via the bridle path (about 30 minutes) and there are 2 pubs that sell food and the golf course Club House also sells food.

A fantastic cottage is a beautiful area. The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout. The beds were super comfortable - the best sleep I have had in a holiday cottage! The living area is spacious with a lovely outlook onto the garden. The enclosed garden was fantastic for our small dog. This cottage is a real gem and I would recommend a stay here.

On arrival the property was exceptionally clean and nice and warm. We book uk holidays all the time and this was bar far the cleanest weve stayed in. The welcome pack was a nice touch too! The property is in a great location for visiting other places in Northumberland but its closeness to the road especially at night was quite noisy with traffic. ARead morelthough youre a bit away from the train line they were very noisy too, with all the windows shut it was quiet so only an issue when you have the windows open. All this said I would definitely recommend this property as a base for exploring Northumberland. Hide

We can not recommend this highly enough, the cottage was immaculate, extremely comfortable, facilities were excellent and location superb. We had a fabulous week here, managing to explore the wonderful beach walks at Seahouses, Bamburgh, Embleton Bay etc. I would certainly book again.
