Comfortable cottage, fairly well equipped. Great walks on your doorstep, and close to places of interest. Do be aware that dogs could run out of the front door onto a road, and the garden is detached from the property and has to be reached by passing another holiday let.

On arrival the cottage lamps were lit and the heating beautifully warm and this with the cottage decor being so beautiful the welcoming feel was tremendous. The generous welcome basket was lovely and it was clear that the owners had put every effort into creating a wonderful space to relax in. Everything was so clean and comfortable and the bedRead more was so very comfortable we slept very well. We stayed in January but still got out and about as the cottage is well placed for places of interest and excellent walks that our pooches loved. We loved our stay and would recommend without hesitation. Hide

This was a very stylish, relaxing, comfortable and cosy cottage. It was lovely and warm when we arrived. The bathroom has a very good shower, plenty of big towels and lovely toiletries. The bedroom is gorgeous with the most comfortable bed. The surrounding area is peaceful and especially beautiful at this time of year (autumn). Sadly, the nearesRead moret pub in Ovington no longer serves food and has limited opening hours ( Wednesday to Saturday evenings). However, there are many other places to eat in the vicinity recommended by the owners. We enjoyed our stay. Hide

A secure garden for dogs was important to us - to find it was 50yds up a drive and very small shingle area was a serious annoyance - it was cheating! Plus no security for dogs when opening front door - straight out out onto fast road. No coat hooks. Nothing to hold onto in bath when showering - we bought a bath mat as was slippery.. Could not tuRead morern off the shower unless the knob was gripped in a towel by a strong male wrist. We appreciated the basket of goodies and dog treats - but would rather have had an attached garden. Hide

Having travelled to see family members, we decided to book a couple of nights stay as an extra little get away before coming home. Having searched online for ages, when I saw Swallows Nest it instantly caught my eye as a lovely place and close to local points of interest. Clear instructions were provided so I knew exactly what to expect and do wheRead moren arriving. Upon entering the property we was taken aback by how beautiful and cosy it was. The attention to decor, furnishings & utilities was 10/10. Also, the property was kept very warm during our stay. We visited during a cold snap but was never once cold when - was lovely. Everything was there that we needed for our stay, and was very nice that some treats were left for our little doggy companion. I would 100% recommend and will love to be back again in the future. Thank you so much for giving us such a luxurious & comfortable stay despite only being booked for a couple of nights ! Hide
