A delightful cottage located on the edge of Exmoor National Park and surrounded by the North Devon countryside offering stunning trails for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Take in the spectacular scenery along the South West Coast Path which winds its way along the rugged coastline. Only 3 miles away is the pretty seaside village of Combe Martin which is a popular destination for kayakers and paddleboarders (can be hired locally) with its shallow shingle cove – it's also a great spot for a bit of rock pooling. The Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe (8 miles) offers a working harbour with seafood restaurants, craft shops and art galleries or take a boat trip out of the harbour and enjoy the stunning coastline with a chance of spotting seals and dolphins. Other places of interest include Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoo, home of the Exmoor Beast, both within 6 miles.

Step into this beautiful cottage, with eco credentials including solar power, an air source heat pump, and toiletries from Out Of Eden, and walk into the entrance hall and through to the stylish kitchen before heading into the lounge with comfy sofas to relax on after a busy day of adventure. Rest in front of the warming wood burner and catch up with a favourite box set on the Smart TV. Let the fresh air in and open up the patio doors on a warm sunny day and enjoy cooking for your friends and loved ones in the stylish well-equipped kitchen. A snug room will be found on the ground floor where children can have fun on a rainy day or while the adults are enjoying time with friends. Completing the downstairs is a WC. Take the stairs to the four bedrooms – the first two are king-size bedrooms, one of which has a Juliet balcony and an en-suite shower room and WC. There is also a double bedroom and a super-king bedroom with zip-and-link beds (can be made into twins on request) and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside is a lovely garden with a gravelled and decked area along with outdoor furniture and a bubbling hot tub to soak away those aches and pains. Guests can enjoy the countryside views whilst dining alfresco with the charcoal BBQ on the go.

This is a lovely cottage, tastefully decorated and very clean. The owners have added lots of nice touches so it feels very cosy and homely and we had everything we needed. We stayed as a party of 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and had plenty of space. Hot tub was excellent, as was the log burner which we made good use of. Great views from the backRead more over the countryside. Its set in a peaceful rural location but close to attractions and beaches. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Hide

The property was well furnished and equipped for our family of seven. The location was ideal for us, sat out in the garden and saw plenty of wildlife even deer ! Hot tub was well used after long days of sightseeing. Parking for three SUVs was tight but doable.

The views and outside area of the cottage was lovely. The hot tub was amazing! All in all we loved it and would highly recommend.

Fantastically located and well appointed cottage managed as a holiday let rather than a home. We had some issues getting the place warm and never managed to get upstairs comfortable because of this, the place has a heat pump rather than traditional central heating.
