This cosy duplex apartment is ideal for couples, small families, and friends looking for a getaway. Situated conveniently for exploring the southern Lake District, the coast, and the charming town of Ulverston, this holiday home provides easy access to local amenities. Just over 8 miles away, Newby Bridge marks the starting point of Lake Windermere and offers Windermere Lake Cruises. Visitors can also enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey from Newby Bridge to Haverthwaite, located just 6 miles from the property.

Heading up the stairs to the front door, you are welcomed into this quaint property. The lounge is perfect for couples to cosy up of an evening and enjoy their favourite films on the smart TV. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the dining table whilst planning the day's events. The open-plan kitchen has all you need for you next staycation, with a lovely welcome pack to boost. Heading upstairs, you can find the first bedroom, a delightful double with ample storage for a week away. An ideal location for visiting Ulverston, very close to all shops and there are plenty of pubs to choose from and all within walking distance. The property is very cosy and clean and is more ideal for 2 adults and 2 children, however the shower is rather small. The car park is just across the road from the property, so we bought a parking permit Read morewhich also enables you to use the ticket in other parts of the Lake District, that have the same green logo, so can save you money on parking fees during your stay. I recently stayed at The Quarterdeck in Ulverston with my Fiance, and it truly lived up to its description as a comfortable and well-situated retreat. The property was thoughtfully designed with cozy furnishings and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The location was idealwithin easy walking distance to Ulverstons charming town centeRead morer, with its array of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
