Just moments from Mundesley Beach, this warm and welcoming holiday home is ideal for a coastal retreat with friends and family. With a clifftop promenade and gardens, and a stunning beach hugged by colourful beach huts, Mundesley is a delightful coastal village. The beach is a real haven for young and old alike, with shallow waters and a long stretch of sand beckoning seaside walks and sandcastles. Mundesley also boasts an 18-hole golf course for keen golfers, while nearby attractions include Amazona Zoo in Cromer (8 miles) and the National Trust’s Felbrigg and Blickling estates (both within 13 miles). Enjoy the nature reserve and bird watching opportunities at Cley (18 miles), whilst railway buffs can choose from the steam railway from Sheringham to Holt (11.5 miles), or the Bure Valley Railway from Aylsham (11 miles) to Wroxham.

From the street, enter the property into the hallway, to your left is the living area. This is a spacious room with comfortable seating, a feature fireplace, and a Smart TV – a great place for relaxing after days of coastal adventure. Also accessed from the hallway is the well-appointed kitchen, where you’ll find everything needed to whip up feasts for the group, who can dine together in the separating dining room or alfresco-style out on the patio. Heading up to the first floor you will find three of the four bedrooms, a welcoming double and two twin rooms, all of which are tastefully finished, spacious, and comfortable. You will also find the well-equipped family bathroom on this floor. On the top floor of the property is the spacious master bedroom with a double bed and its own en-suite shower room.

Outside, the property has its own enclosed garden which can be accessed from the dining area, or alternatively, via the alleyway to the right of the house. Let little ones and pets play on the artificial grass here while adults enjoy an evening tipple on the furnished patio.

We had a lovely home from home holiday. Salty Dog is a very well equipped cottage and so very comfortable.

Great, clean accommodation in a very good location. Kitchen had everything and more that we needed and there was a lovely, locally sourced welcome package. Safe, enclosed garden for young children and our dog. Can definitely recommend staying here.
