Tucked just a 1-mile walk from the pristine golden shores and turquoise waters of Westward Ho! Beach, this wonderfully presented coastal retreat is perfect for those seeking sun, sand, and a plethora of family-friendly adventures. Golf enthusiasts can test their skills at the historic Royal North Devon Golf Club, England's oldest course. A brief stroll down through Northam Burrows Country Park leads you to the beach, where you can savour an ice cream, discover your sandcastle-building talents, or even try your hand at catching a wave with the surf school. Westward Ho! (1 mile) offers a choice of amusements, local shops and fine eateries to wine and dine the night away. There is much more to see and do in the area with a host of family attractions nearby which include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way and Wake Park, as well as spending a day cycling on the famous traffic-free Tarka Trail. All of this is within 10 miles of the home.

Upon entering this beautifully renovated house, you will immediately be able to relax and make yourself at home in the stylish and comfortable surroundings. Step into the beautifully light kitchen/diner, where a dining table sits to one end for laid-back family meals. The kitchen area hosts all the appliances needed for a stress-free stay. From the kitchen you have a choice of entertainment spaces in which to spend your time; the main lounge area has plenty of seating for all to sit back and relax in front of the Smart TV, whilst the snug room opposite provides a cosy space, perfect for reading a book or playing a favourite board game. Completing the downstairs is a WC, and a porch/conservatory space where you can flick off those sandy shoes after a day at the beach. When the night draws in, retreat to your choice of three upstairs bedrooms – a king-size, a twin room and a king-size zip-and-link, which can be made into two singles upon request – handily providing flexible sleeping options. Two of the bedrooms provide guests with stunning views across to the beach and turquoise waters. Completing this truly wonderful home is an equally fabulous family bathroom, where you’ll find a roll-top bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside, guests will find themselves in the generous enclosed garden, with a spacious lawn down some steps from the patio which surrounds the house. Here, you’ll have a choice of outdoor seating and further views across to the beach. It is a truly perfect spot for an al fresco breakfast or sunset BBQ.

Please note: It can be a little tight getting in the gate to the drive, so best to fold in your wing mirrors. Most large family cars can get in okay ie Range Rover Evoque.

Perfect escape for us ( 3 adults and 2 dogs. Lots of space both inside and out. Fabulous location. Lovely decor and full of all the utensils you could possibly need. A real home away from home.
