This fabulous farmhouse is located on the outskirt of Stanford Bridge, just southwest of Worcester and 1 hour from the Cotswolds. A true escape to the country home, sympathetically and tastefully renovated. Situated in the quaint village of Orleton with its own brewery, boasting the most delightful countryside views and a wide range of footpaths and cycle routes. Just over a mile is Stanford Bridge, a home to a range of local amenities; pubs, and farm shop, providing delicious local produce. Local attractions close to this beautiful holiday home include the hill climb of Shelsley Walsh Speed Hill (4 miles), the Severn Valley Railway at Bewdley (15.5 miles), Witley Court and Gardens (6 miles), and for families we’d recommend the animal wonders of West Midlands Safari Park (16.5 miles) and the Go Ape park at Wyre Forest (12 miles) with its lush nature trails.

On entering the property on the ground floor, you will find yourself in the fantastic open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner, ideal for groups or families to dine together, especially when celebrating a special occasion. There is a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you will need to rustle up the perfect meal and practise your cooking skills, giving you the opportunity to utilise the local produce. There is a large dining table with plenty of space or enjoy one of the two comfy sofas in front of the wood burner, an amazing retreat no matter what time of year! Down the hall is the utility/dog room with coat hooks, area to dry your boots, seating, and a WC. There is also a large snug lounge with more sofas, Smart TV, electric log burner and lake views, the ultimate place to relax with your favourite book or film. Heading upstairs, you are greeted by the first twin bedroom, this can be made into a super-king-size bed if needed, with dressers and wardrobes and the most stunning lake views. The second bedroom is a large room with double bed, a gorgeous feature fireplace and en-suite bathroom. Next, we have the family shower room. Bedroom three is another large room with a king size bed, wardrobe, dresser and en-suite with garden views. From here we enter the fourth bedroom, this is our master room with king-size bed, dresser and en-suite, the sun beams into this room. The fifth bedroom is stylishly decorated on the top floor, it has a small double plus a single day bed and sky light windows to watch the stars. Before heading outside, discovery the cellar/ games room with pool table, TV and sofas, there is extra heating here if needed.

Outside, there is a patio area with luxury rattan furniture and BBQ overlooking the farmland and countryside, private and the perfect spot to dine alfresco. There is a separate smaller garden if you want to enjoy some alone time and chill. The perfect retreat in any weather and anytime of the year! A lake is fenced off.

The house is full character and well equipped and it gets five stars from us. The countryside around is lovely and has lots of walks. There are many places to visit within an hours drive.
