Lovely cottage. Centrally located in Settle town centre. Ideally positioned for local amenities. Short walk away from Settle train station. We found this cottage to be very clean and well cared for. Modern feel but comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing holiday for two. We recommend the Craven Arms, a short drive away, for Sunday lunch. The AtRead moretermire Cafe Bar in the Market Square is lovely for a coffee and cake, also a drink on the terrace outside on a sunny day, watching the world go by! We enjoyed breakfast there too on our last day. Public car parking right outside the door of the cottage with a 7-day ticket which cost 19.80. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again, which we are planning to next year! Hide

The property is perfectly located on the edge of the car park. Very quiet but minutes from everything. There was an overwhelming smell of febreeze or similar on entering the property. The property has excellent facilities in the kitchen and good comfy lounge area. 4 dinner/side plates, 4 soup/ breakfast spoons means you put the dishwasher on everyRead more other day. Very modern and a very well fitted bathroom, great shower. Downstairs the bedroom was disappointing. There should be a curtain in the bedroom to block out the street light as there is only a shutter. There is no body or plumpness in the pillows. We found the mattress solid, rather than firm and the frame squeaked when you moved, were not big people and it was noisy. In all a lot of thought has been put into the property and it shows, just needs more work on the bedroom. Thanks. Hide

One of the best cottages that we have stayed at in Yorkshire. Comfortable, convenient and very well presented . We had a great time even as the weather was very wet. Extra towels were supplied for dogs , our schnauzer made good use of them as it rained most days. Plenty of grass areas for her walks close to the cottage. We hope to visit again

Modern, clean and functional. No complaints. Very good as a base for the western side of the dales. Ideal for two people. Car Parking in adjacent car park, not a problem at all and cheaper than advertised (12 for the week), and could be used in other car parks in the area. Would use again if doing that part of the Dales.

Cragdale Mews turned out to be absolutely perfect for the 2 of us plus our 7year old collie ,Fitz. Bed was cosy and comfortable with plenty of space in the bedroom. The shower is one of the best Ive used. Hot and powerful which I needed after a small stumble outside the bike shop/cafe. No major injuries but the power shower massaged those aching muRead morescles a treat. The living area had just the right amount of comfort. The kitchen was well equipped and the layout was spot on. Perhaps a small lamp upstairs would be a little better than the kitchen lights. But that didnt really matter. Parking was at the car park opposite. Overnight parking was cheap. And taking fitz out for that late night walk was a doddle around the car park. So much to do in the local area too. We were there primarily to see the Ribblehead viaduct and we werent disappointed. Booked again for next year so we can safely say that Cragdale Mees was a big hit with us. Hide

This cottage is beautifully presented and the furnishings are lovely. It was spotlessly clean and the bedding and towels smelled amazing. Very generous welcome pack - which was much appreciated.Read more Our dog felt very relaxed here and now that the front garden area is fenced it made it safe. Owners left towels and poo bags for dogs and throws to put on the sofa if needed so that your dog can join you (ours preferred the floor!!!). There is no parking directly connected to the property but the car park is a few meters away and we had no problems parking- it's very close to the property but not noisy with traffic. Settle is a very pretty town - it's very dog friendly with nice walks in the town and surrounding areas. There are lots of cafes, a great butcher, take aways and a couple of supermarkets. We had good fish and chips from the market Square ( market day on Tuesday) and would also recommend the Thai restaurant (Darlings).
