Luxury contemporary house with all your creature comforts and stunning views where friends and family can pop to the pub, shop and sandy beach at Porth Dafarch (1 mile) on the western side of Holy Island, Anglesey. This is the perfect location to enjoy outdoor activities, relax and unwind. The beautiful Trearddur Bay (2 miles) boasts independent shops, pubs, restaurants, two golf courses, a sandy beach and a stunning coastline. From the doorstep explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty dotted with Sites of Special Scientific Interest and the Anglesey Coast Path. Visit Holyhead Maritime Museum, Goleudy Ynys Lawd/South Stack with its Lighthouse and RSPB Reserve for breathtaking views or head to the sea for fishing, scuba diving, seacoast safari or a boat trip – there is so much to see and do all within 2 miles. Further afield visit the wonderful Beaumaris Castle or Anglesey Sea Zoo (20 miles).

As you step out of the car you can’t but help take a moment to take in this breathtaking view. Walk up the steps and into this gorgeous property with all your creature comforts and thoughtful extras throughout. The utility boot room has plenty of space for your outdoor attire before you start exploring. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high ceiling, underfloor heating and picture windows is light and airy. The comfortable corner sofa is the perfect way to relax after a full day out, maybe watch a film on the Smart TV or light the fire for cosy nights in. If you decide to eat in, with local produce purchased on your travels, the kitchen is a sociable space to get creative with all the equipment you could wish for. Once ready, the dining table is the perfect setting for everyone to gather around, enjoy the meal and plan your holiday activities admiring the views from a different picture window. After dinner relax in the lounge or head outside to play games. When ready for bed choose from three gorgeous bedrooms, all with Smart TVs, designed for a good night's sleep and lovely views to wake up to. Excellent cottage in a beautiful location with stunning views of Holyhead mountain. We were lucky with weather and had a great time. The owner is very helpful.

The property is as good as the pictures if not better once you are there. It was great to wake up and look out the windows the views are lovely. Everything you need is there. Lovely helpful family on site . Very cosy place. Lots of lovely places local. Lots of room if you have children. Beaches are within a couple of miles and lovely walks. Quite simply, Gwel Y Mynydd is a really wonderful holiday home. We had the most relaxing, enjoyable and memorable holiday in this beautifully designed house. This amazing find was immaculately clean, furnished and decorated to a very high standard and so comfortable and well appointed everything you could possibly want and need to make your stay pRead moreerfect. From the super welcome pack, which was the best we have ever had, to the stunning mountain views from the enormous picture window in the lounge and the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, made everything about our stay spot on. Richard and his family were wonderful so welcoming and helpful. The location is brilliant for exploring the stunning countryside and beautiful beaches. This is a very special holiday home.
