Escape to the picturesque village of Earl Sterndale, with stunning and dramatic scenery welcoming you to this White Peak area of the Peak District. You will have some of the most breathtaking views to enjoy, in this cottage designed for six guests. You’ll be located just 5 miles from the centre of Buxton, which is known for its Georgian architecture and the famous Buxton Opera House. Visit nearby attractions such as the enchanting Poole's Cavern and the dramatic High Peak Trail. Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, this charming village offers a perfect blend of tranquillity and adventure. High Peak Bookshop and café is just 2 miles away, with great local produce and a great selection of books and gifts. Walkers will be delighted with the variety of places to explore. Take a hike up the famous Kinder Scout (18 miles), enjoy an amble on the beautiful Manifold Trail (13 miles), ride bikes along the Tissington Trail (16 miles) or explore the beautiful Mondal Dale (12 miles).

The property itself is all on one level, forming the top floor of a former farmhouse, in a group of similar properties, surrounded by farmland in this lovely village. Although on the top floor, the property is accessed from the rear parking and patio area, with just four steps at the entrance. Walking in, you have a lovely open-plan living space, which has some of the original features such as exposed beams, with contemporary touches and comfort. There is a dining table and soft seating for you to come together for meals or relaxation. The bedrooms comprise a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and two twin rooms that share an adjacent shower room.

Outside, there is a lovely private seating area where you can relax and enjoy a meal or simply take time to enjoy this setting that is filled with the most beautiful natural environments you can find.

A really lovely cottage in a superb location. The cottage was immaculate, cosy and warm on a chilly day. A lovely welcome tray and milk in the fridge - all you need. Thankyou very much.

Five adults stayed for four nights Beautiful property, very comfortable, lovely views with plenty of places to visit. We had some wonderful meals out, local and when we were out and about.

The cottage has been decorated and fitted out to a very high standard and everything needed for a warm and comfy stay is provided. The cottage is immaculately clean, with access to wonderful walks all around.

A lovely location with great views. The heating in separate rooms could be controlled, which is very useful. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable. The staff and owner (when we saw them) are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of wonderful places to visit in the White Peak and some very good cafs and restaurants. The location was lovely and my wife and i along with our friends loved the cottage. It met all our needs and was close to everywhere we wanted to go so all round great long weekend.

If we could use three words to describe the overall nature of our hosts and stay at Harebell Hill cottage - it would be: from the heart. Upon arriving, we were taken aback by how immaculately clean the entire place was. The little touches like the fresh flowers on the table, and the mini pots of jam and sauces alongside fresh homemade biscuits, werRead moree beautiful and made us feel welcomed and at home instantly. The views from the cottage are surreal. To wake up to that each morning was a dream! The weather being on our side meant we could spend lunchtimes and dinner eating outside with the breathtaking views surrounding us. This was a wonderful property. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. It was in a beautiful location and tastefully decorated with very comfortable sofas! We would highly recommend.

Gorgeous property perfectly located. Very well kept and immaculately presented. Lynne was very quick to reply if we had any questions. The only issue was that we couldnt stay for longer.

The cottage was absolutely wonderful we had a great time. Vey cosy and plenty of space to play for the boys . We would like to come back . Loved it .
