Great property retaining original layout levels from its time as farm buildings. We had good weather during our stay and views across the surrounding terrain is a real bonus of this property. Property is insulated and heated to a high standard - I suspect its real toasty during winter months. Sun room looking over field, complete with its own smallRead more flock of sheep, is a relaxing place to relax with a glass of wine. Owner is really friendly and helpful, and also readily contactable. Location is a couple of minutes drive from A5 (historic route) so its easy to get to though traffic levels seem really minimal. A really handy base location to explore many of the attractions and scenery of North Wales. Hide

This cottage has been designed and renovated with love and you can feel in every room. Two children under 5 loved their loft 'den' and the adults rooms were warm and well, appointed and tasteful. The reception rooms and kitchen were comfortable and well equipped. As for the mountain views they were beautiful and outstanding. A great stay for allRead more the family. Hide

What a fantastic stay we had at Y Granar. Comfortable and well appointed it had everything we needed, with the bonus of simply stunning views from the conservatory - my wife enjoyed just sitting and seeing the changing sky against the mountains. Highly recommended

Good location for exploring and great views form the conservatory. Friendly and helpful owner. Storage for bikes etc really useful. Property is characteristic/ quirky. It is however let down by some quite old / poor furniture particularly in the conservatory, dining table, the beds are ok but really could / should be better for that price of the aRead moreccommodation, and lack of clothes storage in main bedroom is a pain - we lived out of suitcase for the week. The view from the conservatory "sold" the cottage to me, along with the internal photographs and it was as good as I had hoped for. The kitchen, particularly, was well equipped and the welcome basket was well received. I also enjoyed the paintings and photographs on the walls. Thank you.
