The Cart Barn is compact, however it is extremely comfortable and well designed. We had everything we needed for our stay. It boasts necessitys that are often missed in holiday rentals, full length mirror, hairdryer and a mirror close to electric sockets. I may be in the country but I still want to look my best! It has powerful showers. The down sRead moretairs shower room is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works. Loved the coffee machine, saved us bringing our own. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated, especially the lovely oat cookies. We enjoyed the space, and the armchairs in front of the window, in the upstairs bedroom. Great place to relax and enjoy the view. The location is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed country walks with our dog and the local George and Dragon pub was very welcoming. We had a wonderful week at The Cart Barn and will definitely return. Hide

A really lovely place to stay. Its not as isolated as the photo may lead one to believe , and that's a good thing. The property is really very well speced out and the renovations have been done recently and to a very high standard. Internally it is spacious and outside there is a lovely seating area to have morning coffee on a warm day. We found the Cart Lodge clean, comfortable and pleasant to relax in. The first floor bedroom is delightfully spacious, though the 'lounge/dining' area is quite cramped with comfortable seating for only two adults. We greatly enjoyed our stay, even though the weather was awful!
