The Saddlery was absolutely lovely. We visited off season in March and were the only visitors at the Manor for most of the time. It was quiet and peaceful, which was just what we wanted. It was lovely to arrive to scones and tea after a long journey. The housekeeper gave us some recommendations of places to visit, which we listened too, and we realRead morely enjoyed the mining museum near St Austell. The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us: the kitchen is spacious and well equipped, the living room and dining space were comfortable, and it was nice to have a balcony (though it was too cold to sit out while we were staying). The TV also has a good range of streaming services and the WiFi was good. It didn't reach to bedroom, but that wasn't an issue for us. We would definitely come back and would recommend Hembam Manor to others. Hide

A beautifully designed conversion with a light and spacious open plan sitting and dining area with nice artistic touches throughout in a lovely quiet location and with a very attentive, welcoming caretaker with a font of helpful local information and recommendations of places to go to. Definitely a place to return to.

We loved the Saddlery at Hembal Manor - a beautiful cottage for two, a conversion from a heritage building decorated to combine traditional building with modern and comfortable style. It was also spotlessly clean has a lovely, quiet and secluded garden where we were able to wander around and listen to the birdsong. The manager, Karen, was very welRead morecoming (providing us with a cream tea on arrival!), and had lots of helpful advice on places to visit. The location gave us easy access to many of Cornwalls fantastic spots eg gardens, beaches, museums and provided a wonderful haven to return to after a day out. Its a place where we could really relax, and well definitely be returning next year. Very happy with our choice. Hide

We had a great week exploring south Cornwall including the Eden Project, beaches, harbours, woods, Truro cathedral , lighthouses, etc. The Saddlery gave us good base for everything we wanted to do, the cream tea was a lovely touch after a long drive to Cornwall. Thank you.
