What can I say? The standard and finishes of this property are top class. The river view is interesting as it is tidal so offers different perspectives depending on the state and timing of the tides. The cooking facilities and utensils make for any kind of meal a breeze. When we first arrived and parked up in the clearly marked parking space 3 doorRead mores down we noticed the road doesn't have a pavement. We stayed in late April so it was quiet but could imagine it getting a lot busier traffic wise. The good news is that you only have to walk about 80 yards before the pavement appears all the way into town. Is not many minutes walk to the centre. Looe is a great seaside location and offers a variety of shops and eateries. A good range of walks and be prepared for some steep sections on the coastal paths. We walked to Polperro from Looe which took us about two and a half hours plus a bit of a stop at a very nice cafe in Talland. Feet knew about it so we took the bus back!! All in all we had a fantastic time and Annabelle property really put the icing on the cake. The hot tub was wonderful, had a soak most afternoons. Can definitely recommend this property. Hide

A comfortable, relaxing week in this modern cottage with fantastic views of the river. The property is accessed by a number of stairs, so not suitable for people with mobility issues. The one designated parking spot is 50 yards down the road, but this was no issue, and never had an issue with someone parking in my place. The property has everytRead morehing you need, and is a great base to explore Cornwall. Hide

Truly high-end property in a fantastic location. We had a wonderful stay overall. There were a few minor hygiene issues with the cleaning, but nothing that overshadowed the experience. I would definitely recommend this property. Hot tub was fabulous!

We had a lovely stay at Annabell in Oct 2025. Good Points: A modern property that has been finished, furnished, and decorated to a high standard. The living room/kitchen/dining area is lovely and allows lots of family time whilst cooking or relaxing. The two double beds were very comfortable. The views from the balconies over the estuary are wRead moreonderful. Bad Points: The modern heating system (air source heat pumps and underfloor heating) takes a long time to heat up the property. Once it does get up to temperature it is lovely, but it does take a while! The first couple of days were chilly, so bear that in mind if you are staying outside of the warmer months. The bunk beds are narrow and pretty hard. They will be fine for younger children, but my two teenagers found them too narrow (which is a shame considering the size of the room). We were told that someone would come in the week to service the hot-tub and check PH/Chlorine levels - this didn't happen, so the hot-tub looked pretty grotty come the latter part of the holiday. The crockery in the kitchen needs improving - there is just not enough for six people. Overall: A lovely property with parking (be careful with little kids as the space is 50 yards from the property on a busy road with no footpaths). It's only a 7-10 minute walk into Looe. We would recommend. Hide

The house is very nice with lovely views. If you're mobility is not too good there are a lot of steps. The place is clean and tidy however and the master bed mattress is lovely. Best nights sleep i've had in a strange bed ever.

We loved our stay here, there were two adults, a 12 year old and a one year old. The location was excellent, close enough to Looe (5 minute walk to the centre) and great for exploring Cornwall, the views over the river were awesome. We loved the interior decor, very stylish yet homely. Bathrooms and kitchens were very modern and and the entire prRead moreoperty was spotless. It's nice to see a property where expense has very clearly not been spared. Quality bathrooms fittings, carpets, kitchen, utensils etc etc. Communication from the owners was brilliant, we had a slight issue down to our own fault of forgetting to request a baby cot and they had someone there within 30 minutes to sort it. Very, very difficult to fault. Hide
