Access the local tramway path, which is ideal for cycling and walking, just 50 metres away. From the trail you can reach the sandy beach at Portreath or follow it the opposite direction to meet the coast at Devoran. If you don't bring your own bicycles, you can hire them just 0.5 miles from the property and explore on two wheels. This north coastal area offers excellent surfing and attractions to suit all ages, including the ruins of mine buildings around St Agnes and Cligga Point, Newquay, Godrevy, the Cornish Cider Farm, Newquay Zoo and Aquarium and Flambards theme park, all within 20 miles of the property.

This enchanting Cornish cottage exudes timeless charm and character, tastefully appointed to complement its historic past. As you step through the welcoming porch, you're surrounded by the rustic ambiance of exposed beams and stone walls, accentuated by the inviting warmth of a deep hearth and wood burner in the dining room, which seamlessly leads to the kitchen equipped with everything you'll need for your holiday. Accessible through a stable door, the rear enclosed gardens offer a serene retreat. Adjacent to the kitchen, the contemporary family

bathroom is nestled to one side, accessible through the boiler room. From the dining room, the spacious lounge beckons with its large sofas, another inviting log burner, and a Smart TV for your entertainment. The ground-level first double bedroom is accessed from the lounge and features French doors leading to the rear garden. Ascending the stairs, spotlights recessed within illuminate the way, ensuring safety in this charming yet slightly narrow staircase typical of an older Cornish cottage. To the left awaits the king-size bedroom, offering tranquil countryside views from your bedside and a soothing interior for a peaceful night's sleep. To the right, the twin bedroom boasts similarly beautiful views in the distance, ample storage and exposed wood flooring.

A quaint pedestrian gate welcomes you to the enclosed and private front garden. This delightful space features a manicured lawn; variety of mature shrubs and plants including a climbing wisteria; a sunny patio area; and a fish pond inhabited by Koi and goldfish. To the rear of the property, you'll find an elevated seating area, ideal for morning coffee next to a water feature where steps lead to a tranquil, secluded lawn with picnic table to enjoy your surroundings.

This place would be good value for four to six people. The two of us and our two dogs enjoyed our stay. The local walks are good and easily accessible.

A really lovely, well kept cottage near the wonderful beaches of Portreath, St Agnes and Porthtowan. Very well equipped, very clean and homely. Gardens beautiful! Front garden more suitably enclosed than back garden for dogs- especially a larger breed. Farm animals in neighbours garden were a lovely surprise for the kids! Thank you for ouRead morer stay- we would highly recommend to others. Hide

The cottage was very comfy and well set up. Convenient for all of the lower end of Cornwall although the constant traffic jam on the A30 was a bit of a pain.

A lovely cottage in quiet location. Gardens are beautiful, enclosed and with plenty of seating. Comfortable sofas and bed (we only used the downstairs bedroom). Kitchen is very well equipped for self catering. Next door have chickens, geese, pig & donkey which were a novelty ! Only the chickens visited the upper secret garden. Upstairs bedroomsRead more well equipped, stairs are steep with downstairs bathroom. We would recommend and would love to come back, our dog loved the local beaches and walks. Hide
