Firstly, location was fantastic! 15-minute walk to the cove, 10-minute walk to a local shop and 2 minutes to a pub. You could easily not need a car for the week as there are plenty of walks and cafes on the doorstep and there is a range of buses which take you further afield. The house was comfortable and spacious enough for 4 adults and a dog. AltRead morehough parking is not allocated, we did not struggle to park 2 cars throughout our stay. Extra bonus points for dog-friendly features: secure, enclosed garden (although be mindful of steps, etc.) and having no carpets downstairs made it easier to manage wet or muddy paws when you come in from a walk or from the garden. Overall, we enjoyed our stay - it was a great value for money in a fab location and we would definitely stay again. Here are some points that might be relevant to some guests: 1) The access from the street is via steps so might be a challenge for people with mobility issues. 2) The road noise can be noticeable for some people - as the property is towards the start of the village, some people are speeding past the house. 3) Shower pressure is quite low and overall the shower is not the best and could be improved (although hot water was always available). A lovely cottage with all the amenities you would expect. Enjoyed our stay there very much and will return! A minutes walk to the Castle pub and 10-15 mins walk down to the beach and cove. Quite a few cafes etc down there. Lots of nice cliff top walks, but take note: If you want to visit Mupe beach do at a weekend otherwise the trail is closed as oRead moren MOD property. Live firings take place there. There was a problem with the radiators not getting warm enough (not helped by previous occupants switching them all off so lost programming. Gary the owner very quick to respond and fix the issue. Hide

Lovely house, perfectly situated for Lulworth Cove, in a pretty village. Bright, clean and comfortably furnished. Secure back garden is perfect for dogs. Our host was very attentive and was able to solve a small problem in the neighbouring property very speedily. We would definitely recommend.

A lovely cosy and warm home in a superb location. We loved the fact that we hardly needed to use our car as there are so many amazing walks to go on from the front door. The beds and sofas were comfy and there is always plenty of hot water for baths (the shower is electric and fairly easy to use but it's not the best shower). All appliances areRead more new, modern and easy to use and the fact that there are clothes airers to dry your towels on are so useful. Parking is on the street but we always found a space easily and there are steps to the property which for us were fine. The garden is also steep but the owner has tried to make it as accessible as possible. There is a fab pub, The Castle Inn, at the bottom of the road (1 min walk). It's popular so i would advise booking if you want to eat. There is also a Londis beyond the pub on your way to the cove and they do delicious pastries and bread. Hide

Overall this property is very good, a few minir things like water pressure on shower and garden is a bit small but they are only minor issues and did not spoil our holiday. We had a great time and Gary was helpful at the start, early check in, problem with Wi-Fi all sorted and a nice basket of goods to welcome us .
