Nestled in the heart of Wool, this property is an ideal hub for travellers eager to explore. Situated less than 5 miles from the renowned Jurassic Coast, it offers easy access to some of Dorset’s most cherished landmarks. Within a 10-mile radius, you can discover beloved attractions such as Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, the picturesque town of Wareham, the Tank Museum, and Monkey World. Outdoor enthusiasts can embark on adventures along the South West Coast Path, head to Swanage to explore Durlston Country Park, or simply unwind on the sandy shores. Nature enthusiasts will delight in exploring the diverse flora and fauna of Arne and Studland nature reserves. For those intrigued by history, a visit to one of Dorchester's museums is a must.

This semi-detached property is accessed via a private door to the side, which opens into a welcoming entrance hall. Once inside, you'll find an inviting lounge on the left, which has comfortable sofas arranged around a striking inglenook fireplace, complete with an ornamental fire. There is a Smart TV in here so you can enjoy your favourite shows. Heading towards the kitchen at the rear of the property, you'll pass a handy utility room with a separate WC leading from it. The sociable open-plan kitchen/diner has a generous farmhouse-style table, perfect for family meals. This charming space has doors opening onto the garden, which flood the room with light. Heading upstairs, you can choose between the bedrooms. The first is a king-size complete with its own en-suite bathroom and lovely views over the water meadows opposite. There are then two other bedrooms, a twin and a single, which share the remaining bathroom. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are areas of restricted head height throughout the first floor, which only adds to the property’s character and charm.

Take the doors from the kitchen into the garden, and you'll come across the real jewel in the crown of this property. The well-stocked garden has been landscaped with care and attention to create a beautiful backdrop for relaxed days. There is a lawn, a patio with furniture, and a gas BBQ. To the side of the property, there is a shed offering bike storage. A train line runs through Wool with trains passing at low speed behind the property.

A lovely spacious, well equipped cottage in a quiet location over looking water meadows and yet within walking distance of two pubs and Wool railway station. Pleasant garden.

We all loved the cottage including the dogs. They particularly enjoyed being in the garden where they had plenty of room to play and explore. The cottage was spacious and the beds comfortable. It is also ideally located to explore Dorset. Would highly recommend.

The cottage is comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a good holiday. We so enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden, we spent more time in it than we would usually. Wool has all essential shops and the area has so many lovely places within a short drive. We would love to come again.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The views were lovely. It was difficult to find safe footpaths & often had to walk on the roads in the area. If you are tall, avoid this property, my husband is 65 and really struggled. Sorry from that, it was faultless.

Fabulous cosy cottage. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We loved sitting out in the pretty garden. Great place to explore Dorset.
