This quaint property is situated next door to the local service station that’s well stocked with local produce that does not disappoint. Guests have a private access into house via the courtyard gardens. A traditional porchway offers space for coats and boots before you step into the kitchen/diner. Very much the heart of the home is the farmhouse style kitchen with a traditional Aga and everything you may need for preparing meals and picnics. And for mealtimes together, gather around the generously sized table and chairs. A hallway offers access to a cosy lounge with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and gas effect wood burner. Upstairs guests have the choice of four generously sized bedrooms, one double with garden views, one double enjoying a front aspect and a further double. A bunk bedroom offers additional flexibility for families. A family bathroom with shower over the bath and WC completes the layout of the property.

Outside guests can relax within the enclosed courtyard, a sunny spot with table and chairs for dining. For cooler months, there is a garden room that opens onto the courtyard with seating. We had a wonderful stay at Regent cottage. The house is very nice and comfortable. There is everything you can need. It is a quiet place. The patio is very pleasant. It was also great to have welsh cakes, and other things to welcome us. We might come again in the house if we're back in this region.

We had a great stay at Regent House for my mothers 94th birthday! This happily coincided with the Hay Christmas Fayre, which was lovely. We could easily have walked into Hay, so a great location if you like walking and dont have a 94 year old with you! Back into Hay for food at the Three Tuns, which also went well. When we werent eating out, we enjRead moreoyed cooking on the Aga. We appreciated the convenience of the petrol station shop next door for forgotten items like shampoo! Hide
