The cottage located in the rural surroundings of Tavistock with breathtaking views of the countryside. Tavistock is a beautiful town located in West Devon on the edge of Dartmoor. It is a busy town with delis, a range of eateries and a community of independent businesses. The property itself is in a great location offering a rural retreat, yet only 4 miles away from Dartmoor National Park and resting on the Cornish border. Visit Lydford Castle and Saxon Town, only 11 miles away. Head further afield for a day out in Cornwall too, Saltash is 18 miles away. Buckland Abbey, once home to Sir Francis Drake is 9 miles away and Cotehele House is 7 miles away in the opposite direction. There is so much to do!

The open-plan kitchen and dining room is light and airy. The kitchen is equipped to cook for the family and there is a dining table that can seat up to five people. This room leads to the living room, perfect for a quiet and cosy night in front of the electric fire either reading a book or catching up on your favourite TV programmes on the Smart TV. On the ground floor is the family bathroom. The utility room houses a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a fridge/freezer. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a double bed, bedside cabinets and lamps, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a twin room with a wardrobe, bedside cabinet and lamp. Lovely quiet cottage. Weel-equipped and comfortable. Helpful instructions. Easy drive to Tavistock and <5 minutes from the main road, but very quiet. Close to Dartmoor.
