A mix of emotions regarding our stay at Coedmor. First the good bits. It was clean and well equipped. For our extended family visit the layout was ideal with two living rooms and 4 very well sized bedrooms. The location was the best I've ever stayed in for someone who loves the sea, just over the road from one of my favourite beaches it should hRead moreave been heaven. Unfortunately there was also many things that made our holiday less than ideal. There was no hot water for more than half of our stay. 4 adults and a teenager not showering for 3 days in 30 degree heat wave was uncomfortable and quite disagreeable. The plumbers came daily trying to fix the issue and I have to say they were great, very respectful, but that doesn't take away from the intrusion and inconvenience. Even though we were told to carry on leave the key in the keysafe, it still felt intrusive and we couldn't quite settle knowing this was going on. Two or three times we were told it should work now, only to be disappointed and the plumbers informed they needed to come back. There is also the issue of fixtures and fittings being very worn. The whole place looks and feels tired. Even in a heatwave the rear of the property has a dampish smell to it. The double glazing has blown in several windows and the sash windows and the external doors very stiff to open and close. The veneer on the kitchen cupboards is peeling and caused a cut to my hand when opening a wall cupboard and there is an obvious crack in the wall surrounding an electrical socket in the front living room. Lastly, during a conversation with someone on the holiday support line I was told a conversation of compensation would be had with the property owner for a less than great stay. I have had some sympathetic emails from the holiday cottage agency but no resolution or come back from the owner. Which again is a frustrating and disappointing result. This property could be amazing if given some TLC however due to the combined circumstances its not a property I will be returning to, which is sad. Hide

Four ladies and one small dog stayed at the cottage. On holiday we like our own bedrooms and a comfortable lounge which this cottage provided .We found the cottage was convenient to local pubs serving food and beautiful beaches. The cottage has two parking spaces. but the spaces can be difficult for large tall cars. For one of our cars we Read moreused the car park just behind the cottage. Whilst there we experienced a very strong storm which damaged a fence which we reported and which was dealt with by the Agents very quickly. We all enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. Lovely location, could be a bit more homely. Maybe a couple more chairs in the front. The ones supplied are quite comfortable. Beds and bedding were lovely. These were very clean. Bathrooms not the best, even the odd cobweb here and there. We really enjoyed our week in the cottage and would stay again as the location is fantastic.

We loved our stay at Coed Mor. The location is excellent, with the beach opposite. We found the accommodation very spacious with plenty of room for six adults. Amroth itself is delightful and a good centre to explore the area.
