Property code: OC-B29247

An attractive family bungalow, located on the quiet outskirts of the village, just a stroll from the village shops and pubs (0.5 miles) with a farm shop, delicatessen, and restaurant less than 1 mile away. Stunning Budle Bay (3.5 miles) is home to a wide variety of bird species so do bring your binoculars. Visit the wonderful Bamburgh Castle, its fabulous beach, and popular village shops, pubs and restaurants (5 miles). Seahouses boasts a bustling harbour and thriving village. Book a boat trip to the Farne Islands to witness seabirds nesting in the wild, including puffins in the season and the gorgeous grey seals – you might even spot the occasional dolphin too. Explore Holy Island’s history and coastal walks, and taste the famous local mead (11.5 miles), visit Berwick’s Paxton House (18 miles) and cross the border to Eyemouth Beach (24 miles).

This impeccable and spacious detached bungalow is beautifully appointed throughout and offers comfort and style for anyone wishing to explore the nearby Northumberland Coast and national park. Five stone steps lead from the driveway to the front door. Enter via the porch where you can hang your coats and store your walking boots. Head through the glazed door into the welcoming lounge with a large, comfortable sofa and three easy chairs to relax on after your day’s activities. There is a Smart TV so you can enjoy a family movie night, an electric wood burner-effect fire and a wonderful view from the lounge window over the neighbouring countryside to the coast at Budle Bay. The wide hallway leads to the open-plan kitchen/diner with more sea views and French doors that open to the rear garden, perfect for relaxing outside in the warmer months. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the family cook might need to prepare a wide range of meals and drinks. The dining table seats six comfortably for sociable mealtimes, and there is an easy chair next to the French doors where you can sit and relax with a good book. A door in the kitchen leads to the utility/games room with a football table for fun family tournaments, and a table and chairs; this is a great space for older children to hang out. The three bedrooms are located off the hallway and each has plenty of storage space. There is a double bedroom with a TV and an en-suite shower room, and two further double bedrooms each with a TV. The family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Outside, to the rear of the property, is a fully enclosed garden with garden furniture and a BBQ where you can unwind as a family and dine al fresco. A side gate links the garden to the front of the bungalow. There is bench seating in the front garden where you can sit quietly with your morning tea.

If you want to know how good Budle View is, ask my 97yr old mum who said it was the best long weekend away she had ever had. House and location fabulous, couldnt ask for more!

Lovely cottage and beautiful views from house. Further from the coast than I would have liked but cheaper than coastal properties. Well stocked kitchen and close to amenities. Bamburgh castle and beaches are beautiful as was Lindisfarne. Excellent WiFi which helped as daughter was studying.

We found Budle View to be perfect for our three generation family with everything possible included. The cottage was super clean throughout, all double beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed including tea and coffee. The smart tv's with all the usual apps proved invaluable keeping our 18 month grandson occupied on earlyRead more mornings. The cottage was easy to find and well located, close to the A1, for visits all along the Northumberland coast. The only minor negative was the very small ensuite bathroom although the shower itself was powerful and spacious. Hide
