Escape to this Grade II-listed, converted cottage in the tranquil village of Askerwell, set in the fabulous Dorset National Landscape. When day turns to night, walk past the downstairs shower room and up the stairs, where two wonderful bedrooms await. The master king-size bedroom boasts a well-appointed, en-suite shower room, while the welcoming twin is served by the family bathroom with a spa-like bath, which completes the cottage’s interior.

There is no getting away from the fact that The Coach House is a wonderful place to stay. The peace and quiet is a delight. The rooms are bright, airy and beautifully decorated. If you go in the cooler months, be aware that you can't sit around a table indoors, but the breakfast bar looking out of the kitchen offers glorious views and you are liRead morekely to spot deer and numerous birds. Perfect for exploring the West Dorset area which offers many delights. Would recommend to friends, so that's a high endorsement. Hide

Great location and lovely views to watch wildlife. Stylishly decorated.,Kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. There is, however, a lack of privacy going from the bedroom to the main bathroom as there are no window dressings on the windows and door at the top of the stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Coach House, very cosy beds with beautiful linens and such pretty curtains. Well equipped kitchen if you wish to eat in. We didnt light the log burner but this will be a great asset in the Winter months.If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you, with country walks on your doorstep and not too far from tRead morehe south west coast path and beaches. The Spyway Inn is definitely worth a visit for Sunday lunch and the Anchor in Burton Bradstock too. Fish and chips at The Hive in Burton Bradstock sadly not so good. Hide

Lovely little house in a beautiful setting. Well equipped and plenty of storage, however attention to detail needed. It was very dusty in areas and I find this unacceptable.

A beautiful conversion. The Coach House is very well equipped to a high standard with lots of thoughtful touches to make life easier. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio in the evenings watching the wildlife and the beautiful sunsets. We would definitely recommend this property for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Gorgeous coach house in a beautiful setting & ideal for walks straight from the door. Very comfortable beds, powerful shower in the main bedroom and everything needed to cook meals if required. Lovely view from the kitchen window across open countryside. A wonderful place for a long weekend.

The Coach House, Askerswell in Dorset was an excellent property converted to an excellent standard with all you need for a relaxing stay away in a great location, the log fire was brilliant so good in fact I'm going to get one, would deafernatly go back.

The cottage was a great two bedroom building in a location that affords great views. It was decorated for Christmas which added to our festive spirit. Dogs are welcome and there are plenty of places to walk them including a 20 minute walk to The Spyway Inn which we'd thoroughly recommend having eaten there twice including their delicious lunch. Read more The cottage features two bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom so plenty of facilities for showering etc. The welcome pack was most welcome including a lovely bottle of sparkling wine from the Dorset vineyard of Bride Valley. The breakfast bar affords great views of the local countryside including a resident pheasant. The log burner is a nice touch and keeps the lounge area very warm although the central heating is very effective. Although you feel that you're in deepest, darkest Dorset, the cottage is actually only 5 minutes from the A35 and then 10 minutes to the lovely town of Bridport. Hide

The Coach House is probably the nicest holiday let we have ever stayed in. It is well located for exploring the area. It is beautifully decorated and the views are lovely.
