With its traditional styling, wooden beams and doors, this spacious Devon longhouse charms with its history and character, providing a wonderful stay for friends and family. Stepping into the home will bring you into the entrance hallway where you can leave your coats and head through to the first of the entertainment areas: the main lounge. Here you’ll find ample comfortable seating along with a warming wood burner and a Smart TV, a perfect combination for a movie night in with a bag of popcorn. French doors lead from the lounge out to the patio and garden. Heading back across the hallway, step into the contemporary kitchen which is a light and airy space featuring everything you will need for a relaxing and stress-free stay, with an island taking centre stage. Open the bifold doors, pull up a chair at the breakfast bar and enjoy a morning coffee while admiring the view over the garden. The ground floor also features a separate dining room with a wood burner, allowing you to sit back and enjoy those laid-back meals together with friends and family. Heading into the conservatory is where guests will truly be able to show their competitive edge though; here you’ll find a pool table and dart board. The living spaces come together wonderfully to provide something for everyone. Completing the lower floor is the downstairs bathroom, with bath, separate shower and WC - there are stairs leading up from the bathroom so that it can also be accessed from the first floor. When the night draws in you can head upstairs via the central stairway, or directly from the bathroom. This will take you up to all five bedrooms on the upper floor, and a further family bathroom with bath and WC. The bedrooms consist of two with super-king-size zip-and-link beds, and three double bedrooms, all of which are incredibly spacious and offer plenty of storage space.
Heading outside, guests are treated to the spacious garden, complete with a large patio with outdoor seating and a private hot tub. There is plenty of space outside for all the family and this acts as a truly wonderful spot to enjoy a Devon sunset.
