Nestled within the serene woodland of Mid-Devon, close to the charming village of Witheridge, discover this beautiful countryside escape with four-pawed friends in tow. With miles of rolling Devon countryside on your doorstep and easy access to tourist attractions, you'll never be far from entertainment for all ages. Set in the heart of Mid-Devon there are miles of walks to be enjoyed in addition to those on your own exclusive grounds, including the Two Moors Way (2 miles), which meanders through a rural landscape teeming with wildlife. With an array of market towns and pretty villages nearby including Tiverton (10 miles) with its fine eateries, Witheridge (2 miles) with charming local amenities, and the bustling city of Exeter (24 miles), guests are never far from a traditional Devonshire day out. Even enjoy days out in the National Parks of Dartmoor (20 miles) and Exmoor (11 miles), perfect for those wishing to walk or cycle this awe-inspiring landscape. Upon arrival at this woodland hideaway, you will be wowed by the charming blend of original exposed beams and traditional styling, with contemporary creature comforts like underfloor heating throughout.

Step inside the glass-fronted entrance which takes you straight into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, an area flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the woodland and lake beyond. The lounge is well furnished with two comfortable sofas, a separate armchair and a warming wood burner allowing you to cosy up and enjoy your favourite films on the Smart TV on those chillier evenings. The well-appointed kitchen provides everything you will need for a relaxing and stress-free stay, whilst the dining table sits all guests with ease allowing you to wine, dine and share those special memories of the holiday with friends and family. Muddy countryside walks and sandy beach days mean wetsuits, welly boots and raincoats so at the rear entrance you’ll find an additional utility room complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as space for coats and boots. There is also a separate WC. Moving through the home there are two spacious bedrooms at the far end of the lodge, the master bedroom provides a super-king zip-and-link bed which can be made into two singles upon request, whilst the second bedroom hosts a king-size bed. Furthermore, both bedrooms benefit from Smart TVs and ample clothing space. Completing this wonderful lodge is the family bathroom, with rainfall shower over bath and WC.

Stepping outside and onto your own private patio is only the start of the wonderful outside space at this lakeside home. The patio hosts comfortable outdoor seating, a firepit and charcoal BBQ allowing guests to enjoy an alfresco breakfast or evening tipple surrounded by sounds of nature. The lodge sits on 80 acres of woodland, 20 of which guests can roam freely with peace of mind and enjoy the open surroundings, including a fishing lake.
