The Coach House is a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay very much. The owner left a welcome note and a bottle of sparkling wine to help us celebrate New Year, which was a lovely touch. There are plenty of nice places to eat locally and a small deli, and Holt is close by.

If we had been told at time of booking that the owner lived conjoined to our let and separated by internal doors, we would have not booked the property This felt like an invasion of our security and we could not relax knowing the proximity was so close. The roof loft hatch directly over a bed was also off putting as the owner could easily come downRead more through the hatch It felt like an encroachment on our ability to switch off and enjoy privacy. .Response From Holidaycottages.co.uk: The property is adjoined to the owners home and is a fully self-contained holiday-let with its own private entrance and garden, ensuring that guests have complete exclusivity and privacy throughout their stay. The loft spaces above each property are entirely separate and sealed and the loft hatch in the ceiling of an upstairs bedroom is purely a structural feature, not a point of access.
