A lovely quirky cottage. Very clean, well equipped & very comfortable. The welcome pack was unexpected, but much appreciated. Eira made us feel very welcome. The cottage is in a perfect location - only a short car ride to Newborough Forest/Beach,which is a must, especially if you have a dog, or children. There is a view of Snowdon/Caernarfon CastleRead more in the distance. A large secure garden which Luna (our Boxer) was most impressed with. The village pub is closed Mon to Weds, but pulls a lovely pint of Guinness. We will definitely be coming back to Blochdy! Hide

There is upcycling materials for a greener enviroment, and using old clutter in the name of upcycling this property falls into the latter category. A general declutter would vastly improve things and add to what could be a charming property. The owner cannot be faulted for her warm welcome and generous goodies on arrival.

The property owner was very welcoming and respects your privacy. The cottage is in a wonderful location with a large, secure garden for dogs to freely roam. Sadly, we did not enjoy our stay here as this is the dirtiest property we have ever stayed in and needs a thorough deep clean. It is in dire need of an upgrade to its fittings and furnishings aRead mores many items are worn, broken, stained, mouldy and rusted. The drains in the bathroom smell extremely bad. Also, the central heating is only switched on from October to April, which is unacceptable. It does not match the listed 4-star grade Hide
