Situated in a tranquil location within the hamlet of Ash, you’ll be just 3.5 miles from the nearby town of Dartmouth. This cottage is the perfect family bolthole for exploring the South Hams. Country walks can be enjoyed straight from your door or you could make the 2-mile journey to Blackpool Sands – a great spot for kayaking, swimming or fun on the shingle and sand beach. A family favourite, Woodlands Theme Park is 3 miles away and offers an array of exciting rides for all ages. Totnes is just under 11 miles away and combines stunning countryside with independent shopping, local food and drink and interesting attractions. Slightly further afield is the popular town of Salcombe 16.5 miles, located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, known for its stunning coastal views and renowned as a water sports haven due to the sailing and paddleboarding opportunities available.

Enter this detached cottage and kick off your shoes in the hallway. Move through to the lounge area and you'll find a Smart TV and comfortable sofas around a fireplace. For those music lovers, you’ll also find a piano so you can blissfully unwind as you tinkle on the ivories. Through to the kitchen/diner, you’ll see everything you’ll need to cook up some locally caught produce which you can serve at mealtimes around the dining table. There is a door adjacent which leads up some steps and gives you access to the garden. Moving upstairs, to your left is the master bedroom with a king-size bed, a TV and bi-fold doors to a patio space in the garden. Across the hall is the second bedroom with twin beds, a convenient sink in the corner and space for board games. Completing the upstairs is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, there is also a 3rd bedroom which can sleep 2 further guests in the converted space above the garage. This annex has twin beds and a separate sofa area. It does not have ensuite facilities and access to it is up the outdoor steps. It is not centrally heated and is therefore best suited to use in the warmer months. A perfect space for an additional person - a teenager or someone who would like personal space. There is an additional charge of £75 for use of the annex.  

The garden features a large lawn area and a raised decking space, with a hot tub and a barrel sauna. This space is perfect for your four-legged friends and great for garden games. Unwind on the sun loungers or enjoy alfresco dining in this fantastic space.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Very comfortable, with everything you need. Beware of the drop at the edge of the parking triangle.
