Welcome to this beautifully renovated three-storey terraced house in the charming coastal town of Southwold, Suffolk. Well-presented property in a brilliant location with parking and EV charging as a real bonus. Beware of the size and layout of the loft bedroom if it is intended for a couple of anything above diminutive size.

This was probably one of the nicest holiday lets I've ever stayed in; in a lovely quiet location, but only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Stylish exterior and interior, with comfortable, modern furniture and fitments, and every appliance you could possibly wish for. Even the examples of objets d'art scattered around were tasteful and pRead moreleasing to the eye. The mattresses and pillows were ultra comfy, and I'd happily stay at this property again. However, we didn't find the parking at the back of the property large enough for two cars... but we parked the second car in the road, at the front of the house; so, no real problem. Our only problem was a lack of heating, which we found no reference to in the print-out. It was, unfortunately, the one cold spell in May! Hide

The Retreat is a fantastic cottage, and so close to the shops and cafes! Once you've parked the car up, you needn't move it again till you go home. It's clean, modern and comfortable with everything you could wish for. Even, hairdryers, make-up mirrors and cooling fans in each of the bedrooms! One word of warning though, there is limited headroom iRead moren the 2nd floor bedroom, which didn't affect us as only one 5'2 adult was using it, but it is probably more suited to the younger members of the family. It was a real treat staying here, and we hope to return in the future. Hide

This is a beautiful accommodation decorated to a very high standard. The property is very comfortable and only a stones throw away from all the amenities Southwold has to offer.

It was obvious that the owner had done a great job in decorating the house throughout - it was fresh, clean and very comfortable. The Retreat was in an excellent location for the shops, the beach and the common and walking to the harbour. It is a perfect house for a family of our size and everyone enjoyed the space that the house offered. It wasRead more also lovely to have three shower rooms between us. We also appreciated the parking area for two cars. Our grandchildren loved the 'snug' which they made their own chill out zone! This is a lovely property with high end facilities. Everyone said their bed was so comfortable Great location and you must arrange to do a tour of the Electric cinema. Amazing story and literally 50 foot down the road at the rear at the property .
