A beautifully and recently renovated detached bungalow, with views of the sea, perfect for family holidays on a holiday park offering great seasonal activities for all ages to enjoy. The holiday park offers guests the use of an indoor swimming pool, shop and a bar with an eat-in and takeaway options (March-October) and is within close proximity of Fishcombe Cove beach which is roughly 150 metres down the hill. While you're there, visit the famous Fishcombe Cove Cafe, take part in the beach yoga sessions or swim in the sea! Keep an eye out for Sammy the Seal. Take a stroll (just under 1 mile) into Brixham to eat at the local restaurants, maybe drink a cocktail or two and shop in the independent stores.

In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many events and festivals in the area like the Brixham Pirate Festival, England's Seafood Feast, Lanterns lights & 'luminations, Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Teignmouth Air show, Devon County Show?


Step into this light and bright property, newly renovated in 2024, and you’ll enter the open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge with beautiful sea views of Torbay. This spacious design allows for a great social space to enjoy each other's company during your holiday. The chalet has been designed with welcoming colour tones to encourage a real home-away-from-home environment for your stay and the large windows flood the space with natural light. The kitchen houses all you need to rustle up some fresh meals to enjoy around the dining table, which seats four. After a busy day swimming, walking along the beach or shopping in the town, cosy up on the sofa and plan your adventures. There are two bedrooms, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, to the rear of the chalet. The crisp white family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the layout.


There is a grass area to the rear of the property ideal for children to have a run around and play. A great opportunity to make new friends on holiday in Brixham.

Just had a lovely stay at Gone to the beach. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Plenty of extra blankets if needed! Sarah was very friendly and helpful and prompt to reply to my enquiries. I would definitely recommend Gone to the beach for a relaxing peaceful break .

We (family of 4, 2 adults, 13 year old and 11 year old) stayed here for a week in Aprilj 2025. The location was great, with a short walk into the town. The accommodation was well equipped, clean, comfortable, and was everything we needed for a week. The view of Torbay was amazing. The site was quiet when we were there which meant the kids had the pRead moreool to themselves some days! The owner was fantastic as well - my daughter left her watch behind and Sarah sorted out for it to be posted back to us. Hide

Gone to the Beach is a lovely place to stay. There are some beautiful walks nearby and its close enough to easily walk into Brixham. The accommodation was very well equipped with everything we needed and we had a lovely few days there. We would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at 12 Fishcombe Cove week commencing 28th October and we had a fantastic Halloween half term stay. The property was easy to local, lovely and clean inside. Great entertainment on site for young children in the clubhouse. Access to a swimming pool and a small park for little ones. We would definitely recommend a visit!

A lovely well equipped place to stay on a nice holiday park. Only a five minute drive into Brixham which has lots of places to eat and drink. The food in the clubhouse was also very nice and the indoor pool was also good.

Lovely clean and tidy place, had everything we needed. Sarah has thought of everything even the smallest of things like providing pegs, iron, hairdryer extra blankets. Fantastic view of the sea. Had an excellent stay.

The property was in an excellent location and had everything we needed for our holiday. It was well equipped, comfortable and exactly as described. Sarah was very understanding when I forgot the key code and was quick to respond. We would not hesitate to return and plan to do so. This was a very nice place - a great location just up from Fishcome/Churston coves, clean and tidy and had all the facilities one would need. We had a problem with the shower which was fixed that very morning after just one call. The access to the swimming pool is a bonus. If you time it right, you can have it all to yourself!
