Ideal for couples or families with older children, the apartment is set within a purpose-built block and has a fresh, contemporary feel. It’s located in the picturesque town of Newport, in the heart of the Great Western Greenway. The town is renowned for its excellent fishing, both sea and fresh-water, and has a wide range of places to eat, traditional pubs with live music, and a weekly market selling artisan produce. From here you can get out and about hiking, cycling or driving the Wild Atlantic Way. The seaside town of Westport is just 7 miles, where you’ll find excellent restaurants and yet more outdoor activities and water sports.

Take the lift up to the second floor and enter the apartment, which has pale walls and timber flooring throughout for a bright and airy feel. The open-plan living space comprises a kitchen/dining area and lounge. The stylish kitchen area includes a charming dresser and a dining table for. In the lounge, comfy seating is gathered around a Smart TV. What a great place to unwind after a busy day exploring the local area. When it’s time for bed, the pretty double bedroom has an en-suite shower room, while the twin has use of a family bathroom.

Step through the patio doors in the lounge area onto the fabulous balcony, which has dining furniture for you to enjoy al fresco drinks and meals. This wonderful space sits right over the Newport River and has peaceful views over the water and to the woodland and buildings opposite.

Super flat, excellent views from the balcony both up and down the River. Very peaceful. Good parking facility, within easy reach of pubs and restaurants.

The apartment is very cosy and comfortable. The view from the balcony is wonderful. It is perfectly located as well. You can go to the pub on foot and the location is great to explore both Co. Mayo and parts of Co. Galway. We had a great holiday and will certainly come back again...
