This fabulous estate is located 2 miles from Glengarriff, a popular small village with a choice of places to eat and drink, plus a nature reserve and interactive sculpture garden. You can swim in the lake, play golf or follow the Wild Atlantic Way. You’ll reach Bantry in 9 miles, where trying the world-famous Bantry Bay mussels is a must, and Kenmare is only 19 miles away, for exploring the shops and the variety of places to eat and drink.
Drive through the electric gates and onto the site, where you’ll find the three private lodges in their woodland surroundings. The main lodge has been carefully designed, with a mix of old and new furniture and wood flooring throughout. Its welcoming lounge includes a wood burner, large windows with views of your surroundings, a TV and an impressive array of furniture. There’s a smart kitchen with a characterful wooden dining table – a light and bright space perfect for mealtimes. A welcoming master double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a spacious twin bedroom complete this property’s interior.
In the top cabin you’ll find a double bedroom and a shower room. This lodge also contains a licensed self-serve bar area for your private use, which will be stocked up for your arrival.
The middle cabin houses the Komate Bio-Spectrum Sauna inside, with changing area to allow you to relax no matter the weather.
The buildings are located on two acres of enclosed, landscaped grounds, in which you’ll find a stream, as well as areas of lawn that are complemented by mature trees and shrubs. There’s also a patio for al fresco dining and a lockable shed where you can store your outdoor equipment.
