A fabulous pair of properties on one site! The detached lodge is your main home-away-from-home, including all the facilities you’d expect, plus there’s a cabin with a bedroom and bathroom – ideal for anyone who wants to be together but separate: perhaps older teenagers, grandparents or friends holidaying together. This fabulous destination is located 2 miles from Glengarriff, a popular small village with a choice of places to eat and drink, plus a nature reserve and interactive sculpture garden. You can swim in the lake, play golf or follow the Wild Atlantic Way. You’ll reach Bantry in 9 miles, where trying the world-famous Bantry Bay mussels is a must, and Kenmare is only 19 miles away, for exploring the shops and the variety of places to eat and drink.

Drive through the electric gates and onto the site, where you’ll find the lodge and cabin. The lodge has been carefully designed, with a mix of old and new furniture and wood flooring throughout. Its welcoming lounge includes a wood burner, large windows with views of your surroundings, a TV and DVD player, and an impressive array of furniture. There’s a smart kitchen with a characterful wooden dining table – a light and bright space perfect for mealtimes. A welcoming double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a spacious twin bedroom complete this property’s interior. In the cabin, you’ll find a double bedroom and a shower. It also has a bar area, which will be stocked up for your arrival.

The buildings are located on 2 acres of enclosed, landscaped grounds, in which you’ll find a stream, a sauna cabin and a covered hot tub - for you to enjoy a soak and a steam any time you like. Areas of lawn are complemented by mature trees and shrubs, and there’s a patio for al fresco dining as well as a lockable shed where you can store your outdoor equipment.
