This pretty cottage, sitting within its own grounds surrounded by fields and views of the Kerry Mountains, is ideal for a group of friends or a family who want to explore the area. It’s just outside Farranfore village, perfect for visiting local attractions and exploring Killarney National Park. This is a great venue for cycling, canoeing, horse riding, fishing, swimming, boating, bird watching and walking. Visit Muckross Lake (16 miles), along with Lough Leane (15 miles) and Upper Lake (20 miles), which make up the three famous Lakes of Killarney. Tour Killarney’s heritage sites, which include the Victorian mansion Muckross House and Gardens (14 miles), 15th century Ross Castle (13 miles) and Muckross Abbey (15 miles), which dates back to 1448. The towns of Castleisland (6 miles), Killarney (9 miles) and Tralee (11 miles) are all worth a visit, and there’s easy access to Dingle Peninsula (27 miles) for more exploring.

With a traditional layout, the bungalow is welcoming and homely. It has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can prepare tasty fare in the kitchen area, watch TV from the sofa and armchairs next to the wood burner, and dine together at the dining table, which folds away to create more space. There are three comfortable double bedrooms, two of which have wooden beds and bedroom furniture, and all have wooden flooring. Rounding off this quaint and compact property is the family shower room.

Enjoy lunch and evening drinks at the picnic table in the fully enclosed garden.
