Enjoyed my stay there. Nice cottage. Fits max. 2. Michael is an amazing host. He was very helpful! Hopefully back soon again. Next shops in Carna - a couple of km. Next big supermarkets in Clifden and Ougtherard. Petrolstations: Clifden, Maam Cross. Restaurants: Glynsk House (2-3 km), Carna, plenty of restarants in Roundstone, Clifden anRead mored Ougtherard Beaches: near Roundstone (approx. 15km) and south of Carna Driving time: from Galway 1h 10 min through N59. from Galway - along the south coast - approx 1h 40 min. Coming from Galway on the N59, you will pass Maam Cross. Continue on N59. You will pass the start of the R344 (going to Kylemore Abbex). Take the Carna Road (R340) to the south. Stay on the Carna road. DO NOT take the Carna Road to Roundstone. Keep following the road. After quite a while of driving you will pass Glynsk House (Restaurant). This is a bit hidden. Immediately after it take the coastal road. After approx. 3km you will see the houase on top of a hill. It has lovely views of the Conemara Mountains. Hide

The final instructions for finding the house are poor as the gateway with cone pillars is not visible from car when driving. Better to say at top of final hill before descent to west coast. Cottage is basic with many kitchen essentials missing and could do with a deep clean. There is no freezer, despite what the website says. Good location though aRead morend reasonably priced. We had a great week but not for you if youre looking for luxury or comfort. Hide

Lovely accommodation for two on the Wild Atlantic Way. Perfect spot for touring Connemara and close enough to Galway. We had a lovely time staying there and the host was really helpful.
